RESALE INFORMATION
We encourage Members to take advantage of our Retirement Programs as a reliable way to terminate RCI and Annual Membership Dues.
We are not licensed to handle resale.
IMPORTANT NOTE: NO resale company is authorized to act on RHG Vacation Club’s behalf.
We have complied some information to help assist you in the resale process. Please read through the following information, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Club Services.
PRIVATE SALE
The best way to resell your Membership is through private advertising.
- “Word of mouth” go to family, friends, co-workers and just by talking about what the program has to offer and the positive memories you have created could generate interest. You can also add incentives to this by allowing them to use one of your weeks to experience what the program has to offer.
- Use buy and sell sites. There are various sites that you can use like Facebook marketplace, eBay, Kijiji, etc.
RESALE COMPANIES
We suggest that you be cautious when dealing with resale companies. Members have paid money up front and have not received an offer, sale, or any services for the price paid.
It is important to understand that there is NO AFFILIATION between RHG VACATION CLUB and ANY RESALE COMPANY.
NOTE: Your contract is a floating week or a points contract, a TITLE SEARCH is NOT required. You also do not have a deeded property so we are not able to provide you with a deed.

TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP
The Following Steps are Requires to complete a Transfer of Ownership
- In order to transfer a membership the membership must be paid in full and no promissory note owing.
- The Maintenance Fees must be current and up-to-date. If a maintenance fee is owed in the next 3 months that fee will have to be processed before the time of transfer.
- Download the appropriate Transfer forms below. If you are a week’s member choose: Weeks Member Transfer of Ownership Form 4. If you are a points member transferring choose:Points Member Transfer Of Ownership Form. Both the Transferor/Seller and Transferee/Buyer must fill out the form. It must be signed, witnessed and sent to our office with all appropriate documentation listed below.
- The new Owner must complete and send in:
a. “Transfer of Ownership” form that applies to your program
b. Member Obligation Payment Form
c. 2 Pieces of CLEAR Government photo ID
d. A copy of a current utility bill - A mandatory $990 + 13% tax (Total: $1,118.70) Transfer fee is required. We accept all major credit cards, e-transfer or payment by Cheque. If you are sending a cheque or money order please make it payable to Resort Holiday Development Inc.
- Transfer may not be in the name of a Corporation, Ltd, LLC, or any type of business.
- Once all original documents are completed, they may be sent by mail:

OR the documents may be scanned and emailed as long as all documents are legible and
clear to read to [email protected] - Once we receive all the documentation, we will contact the transferee to confirm that they would like to take over the membership and they are aware of the fees and obligations associated with the membership.
- After we have spoken with the new Member and we have transferred the Membership we will send the new Member a letter with information about the RHG Membership.
- It is the members responsibility to follow up with RCI in the process of a transfer.a. If you are a points member you will have to fill out the RCI Transfer Application and pay the applicable fee to RCI to transfer your points. And notify us that the transfer with RCI has completed so we make sure the points are going to the right person account. If we are notified that the points have been transfer the RHG Membership will not be transfer until this part is completed.b. If you are a week’s member and have an active RCI account please contact RCI to find out how to transfer your membership. IF RHG assigns a new RCI number to the new owner (at their cost) the old owner RCI account will be cancelled as you need ownership at a home resort in order to be affiliated with RCI.
At any time RHG Vacation Club reserves the right to Deny/Refuse any transfer should any documents not be completed, the Buyer refuses to speak with us, or for any other valid reason.

ADDING OR REMOVING A MEMBER
ADDING A MEMBER
At RHG Vacation Club you are allowed 2 members on the membership if at any time you only have one person on the membership you are able to add another person.
Please fill out Addendum for Weeks Members or Addendum for Points Members. Please remember to Sign ALL sections or the application will be invalid.
Once completed please forward to RHG Vacation Club by emailing [email protected] or by mail. We will contact the new member to confirm that they would like to be added to the membership. There is no cost to add a person to the membership.
REMOVING A MEMBER
If at any time a person would like to be removed from the membership a Form 2- Schedule B has to be filled out and signed by both parties. This shows us that both parties agree to the person being removed from the contract.
REMOVING A MEMBER DUE TO DIVORCE
To remove a person due to divorce/separation a divorce settlement will need to be provided. If for any reason you are not able to provide the divorce settlement a Schedule B will have to be submitted.
DEATH OF A MEMBER
If case of a death please forward a copy of the death certificate. If there is another person on the membership, they will become the sole owner of the membership. If the member that passes away is the sole member and it is not willed, the membership will be cancelled.
REMOVING A MEMBER WHILE UNDER FINANCING
If you are currently Financing your membership and would like to remove a person from the membership please fill out a Schedule B form. *Although removed from the Membership they are still legally obligated to the conditions relating to the promissory note.
RHG VACATION CLUB RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ANY ADDING OR REMOVING OF A MEMBER due to documents not being completed, the new member refusing to speak with us, or for any other valid reason.
